New neoprene globe wrap for JC Higgins and Coleman lanterns using the 220, 228, or 252 globe size. Protects your lantern globe and reduces rattling during transport. Simply wrap around the globe and secure with the Velcro closure.

⚠️ Important: Allow your lantern to cool completely before applying the wrap. Neoprene will melt if placed on a hot lantern.
Installation
JC Higgins 220-size globe: The wrap simply wraps around the globe and secures with Velcro.
Relief cut (if needed): If wrapping completely around the outside of the frame or using with a mil-spec 252A with quad glass, you may need a relief cut. Center the wrap, mark where the bail makes contact, then make a cut approximately 1½ inches long (see photos).
Alternate method (recommended for display lanterns):
- Remove the globe from the lantern.
- Thread the wrap behind the bail (be careful not to bump the mantles).
- Slide the globe back in and adjust the wrap as needed.
- Secure the Velcro on the back.
Notes on the alternate method:
- Takes a little more time but reduces rattling and looks better — especially on display lanterns.
- No relief cut needed.
- Light-colored fabrics may get dirty more quickly using this method.
